EstimateFlow Pro Documentation and Complete Setup Guide

Use this guide to install EstimateFlow Pro, create guided estimators, add editable demonstration templates, configure preliminary prices, collect photos and leads, build a Service Menu, and place an estimator on the entire website or only selected pages.

Start here: New users should complete the sections in order. Existing users can use the contents below to jump directly to a feature.

Important: EstimateFlow provides preliminary price guidance from rules the business enters. It does not create a final binding quote, inspect a property, or replace professional judgment.

1. Requirements, Installation, and Updates

Before installing

  • Create a current backup of the WordPress files and database.
  • Confirm the website uses HTTPS.
  • Confirm the current plugin package requirements. The present release declares WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer.
  • Update WordPress, the active theme, and essential plugins before testing EstimateFlow.

Install EstimateFlow Pro

  1. Download the official EstimateFlow Pro ZIP file. Do not unzip it.
  2. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the ZIP file and select Install Now.
  4. Select Activate Plugin.
  5. Open EstimateFlow → Settings and complete the first-time settings.

Update an existing installation

  1. Back up the website first.
  2. Upload the new EstimateFlow ZIP through WordPress.
  3. If WordPress asks, choose Replace current with uploaded.
  4. Do not delete plugin data before updating.
  5. After the update, clear caches and test an existing estimator, a new estimator, a lead submission, photos, email, and page placement.

Normal updates preserve existing settings, estimators, pricing, templates, and leads. The option to delete data on uninstall should remain off unless permanent removal is intended.

2. Dashboard Map and First-Time Settings

The most frequently used pages appear near the top of the EstimateFlow WordPress menu:

  • Overview: summary cards, recent activity, Results dashboard, conversion rate, source pages, and the reset-results control.
  • Leads: customer requests, answers, preliminary ranges, notes, photos, status, export, archive, and trash controls.
  • All Estimators: create, edit, publish, duplicate through templates, and locate estimator IDs or shortcodes.
  • Settings: business information, email, customer wording, spam protection, display behavior, Demo Mode, cache handling, and license.
  • Service Menu: choose which published estimators customers can select and design each menu block.
  • Floating Bar Design: design the entire bar and the separate Call, Text, and Get Estimate buttons.
  • Question Library: view ready-made questions and industry templates with editable demonstration prices.
  • Templates and Template Tools: save, import, export, and apply reusable estimator configurations.

First-time checklist

  1. Enter the business name, notification email, currency code, and currency symbol.
  2. Turn on automatic cache clearing if it is compatible with the website cache system.
  3. Keep basic spam protection enabled and begin with the default rate limit.
  4. Choose the maximum number of customer photos.
  5. Enter the Call and Text telephone number and edit the visible button labels.
  6. Create and publish at least one estimator before choosing how it will appear.
  7. Configure mobile and desktop floating display modes separately.
  8. Leave Demo Mode off on a real business website.
  9. Save settings, clear caches, and test while logged out.

3. Create an Estimator From Scratch

  1. Open EstimateFlow → All Estimators.
  2. Select Add New.
  3. Enter a clear internal title, such as Lawn Mowing Estimate, Junk Removal Estimate, or Fence Installation Estimate.
  4. In Estimator Setup, choose the estimator type, introduction, base price, range percentage, currency, customer headings, pricing disclaimer, and button wording.
  5. In Question Flow, choose All questions at once or Branching question flow.
  6. Use Add from Question Library to insert a prepared question or complete template, or build questions manually in Question Builder.
  7. Publish the estimator. Draft estimators cannot be selected on the public website.
  8. Copy the estimator ID or shortcode from the Display Estimator box when needed.

Use service-specific estimators

Separate estimators are usually easier for customers and easier to price than one enormous form. A lawn-care estimator can ask about lot size and grass height, while a junk-removal estimator can ask about volume, item type, access, stairs, and heavy materials.

Before publishing

  • Check spelling and customer-facing wording.
  • Confirm every required question is truly necessary.
  • Verify every answer adjustment and branch destination.
  • Add a clear preliminary-pricing disclaimer.
  • Test both the least expensive and most expensive answer combinations.

4. Choose the Correct Estimator Type

Guided Price Estimate

The customer answers service-specific questions. EstimateFlow combines the base price and answer adjustments and displays a preliminary range. Use this when common job conditions can be represented by clear questions and pricing rules.

Quick Photo Quote

The customer describes the work, supplies contact information, and can add project photos without receiving an automatic price. The estimator can require at least one photo and can require a service address or area. Use this when visual review is more reliable than automatic calculations.

Customer Chooses: Estimate or Photo Quote

The opening screen lets the customer choose either a guided preliminary estimate or a personalized photo request. Use Combined mode when some customers know the details needed for pricing while others would rather send photographs.

Do not promise that a preliminary range is a final quote. Use the disclaimer to explain that access, measurements, materials, disposal, damage, site conditions, travel, and inspection can change final pricing.

5. Questions, Required Answers, Explanations, and Branching

Question types

  • Dropdown: a compact choice list.
  • Radio buttons: one visible answer from a short list.
  • Checkboxes: multiple answers when more than one condition can apply.

Build each question

  1. Enter the customer-facing question label.
  2. Choose the field type.
  3. Enable Required only when the customer must answer before continuing.
  4. Add an optional Why we ask explanation. Example: “We ask about access so we can estimate equipment and labor requirements.”
  5. Add answer choices, price adjustments, visible-price settings, and the destination after each answer.
  6. Drag questions into the correct order and save.

Add uncertainty choices

Customers often do not know measurements or technical conditions. Add useful choices such as Not sure, I need help deciding, or Please determine from my photos. Usually these answers should add zero dollars and continue to the appropriate next step.

Conditional display

A question can appear only when a customer selected a specific answer to an earlier question. Conditions may reference a previous question only. Use this to prevent unrelated questions from appearing.

Branching question flow

  1. Select Branching question flow in the Question Flow box.
  2. For every answer, use After this answer to choose the next related question or the contact page.
  3. Keep each path moving forward. Do not create loops that send customers back to an earlier question.
  4. Test every starting service choice from beginning to end.

Example: If the customer chooses Mattress Removal, continue to mattress quantity, pickup location, stairs, and access. Do not send that customer through brush-removal or fence-removal questions.

6. Base Prices, Answer Adjustments, and Preliminary Ranges

How the calculation works

The estimator begins with the configured base price and applies the adjustments attached to the customer’s answers. The range percentage is then used to display a preliminary low-to-high range.

Set prices responsibly

  • Base price: the starting amount before selected adjustments.
  • Answer adjustment: an amount added to or subtracted from the calculation when that answer is chosen.
  • Show price: controls whether the adjustment is visible beside the answer.
  • Range percentage: creates a preliminary range around the calculated amount.

Use the business’s real minimum charge, labor, material, disposal, equipment, travel, access, quantity, and risk information. EstimateFlow applies the numbers entered by the business; it does not verify whether they are profitable or correct for a local market.

Pricing test

  1. Choose only the lowest-priced answers and record the displayed range.
  2. Choose only the highest-priced answers and confirm the result remains reasonable.
  3. Test every “Not sure” and photo-determination choice.
  4. Test branches to confirm hidden questions do not add prices.
  5. Confirm the disclaimer remains visible on desktop and mobile.

7. Question Library and Ready-Made Industry Templates

Open EstimateFlow → Question Library to review prepared questions and complete templates. The current package includes templates for Lawn Mowing, Junk Removal, Property Cleanup, Pressure Washing, Tree and Limb Cleanup, HVAC Service, Roofing, Plumbing, Moving, and Fencing.

Add one prepared question

  1. Edit an estimator.
  2. Open Add from Question Library.
  3. Select a question from the appropriate service category.
  4. Choose Add Selected Question.
  5. Review the wording, choices, prices, and branching before updating the estimator.

Add a complete industry template

  1. Edit a new or existing estimator.
  2. Select a template under Add a Complete Industry Template.
  3. Choose Add Complete Template.
  4. Review every question and demonstration price.
  5. Replace example prices with the business’s actual pricing before publishing.
Important: Built-in templates contain editable demonstration prices so the calculator works immediately. They are examples, not guaranteed competitive prices for every market or business.

Create all demo estimators

The Question Library includes a tool for the ServiceWebBuilder demonstration website that creates or refreshes every built-in demo estimator and adds them to the Service Menu. On a real customer website, create only the estimators that the business actually offers.

8. Save, Import, Export, and Reuse Templates

Save an estimator as a reusable template

  1. Open EstimateFlow → All Estimators.
  2. Move the pointer over the estimator title.
  3. Select Save as Template.
  4. Edit the saved template under EstimateFlow → Templates.

Create an estimator from a saved template

Open the Templates list, move the pointer over the desired template, and select Create Estimator. The new estimator receives a copy of the template configuration. Later template edits do not silently change an already-created estimator.

Export and import

  1. From the Templates list, select Export JSON.
  2. Keep the JSON file in a secure location.
  3. On another licensed website, open EstimateFlow → Template Tools.
  4. Choose the EstimateFlow template JSON file and select Import Template.
  5. Create a new estimator from the imported template or deliberately apply it to an existing estimator.

Applying a template replaces the selected estimator’s current questions, prices, branches, and wording. Export or save a backup template first if the old configuration may be needed.

9. Customer Flow: Contact, Photos, Review, and Submission

Questions and preliminary price

Customers answer the published questions. In one-question-at-a-time mode, the current preliminary estimate remains visible as the customer moves through the flow. The contact page repeats the preliminary range at the top without making that copy sticky.

Contact page

The customer enters a name and telephone number, with optional email, service address or area, preferred call time, and job description as configured. The contact page also displays an answer summary with an Edit answers control.

Photo guidance

Ask for useful photographs rather than “any photos.” The default guidance recommends:

  • One wide photo showing the complete job or pickup area.
  • One close photo showing important details.
  • One photo showing the driveway, gate, doorway, or access path.

Customers can take a new mobile photograph or choose existing images. The screen shows selected thumbnails and upload status. Large phone photographs may be optimized before upload. Accepted images must pass the plugin’s server-side file checks.

Review Before Sending

The final review shows the customer’s answers, contact information, selected photos, and preliminary range. Edit controls allow individual sections to be corrected without forcing the customer to restart the entire estimator.

Navigation controls

  • Start Over: clears the current answers and begins again.
  • Top: returns to the preceding estimator section and its top.
  • Send My Estimate Request: performs the final submission on a normal business website.

On mobile, the navigation remains at the bottom of the estimator content rather than floating over the form. Customers should keep the window open while photographs upload and until the success screen appears.

10. Build and Customize the Service Menu

The Service Menu lets one Get Estimate button offer several published estimators. Open EstimateFlow → Service Menu.

Turn on and populate the menu

  1. Enable Show the Service Menu when a customer clicks Get Estimate.
  2. Choose Automatically show all published estimators when every published estimator should appear automatically.
  3. Leave automatic display off when the owner should manually select the estimators shown.
  4. Save the Service Menu.

Change customer-facing wording

Edit the small text above the heading, main menu heading, introduction, return-to-menu button, and screen-reader popup label. Example heading: What service do you need?

Design individual menu blocks

Each estimator card can have its own customer-facing label, background, text, border, and accent color. Use readable contrast and test hover and keyboard focus so the estimator name does not disappear.

Automatic versus manual estimator lists

  • Automatic: every newly published estimator appears without returning to the Service Menu settings.
  • Manual: only checked estimators appear. This is better when the website contains drafts, private-purpose estimators, or services that should not be offered publicly.

The Service Menu can be used website-wide or assigned to one WordPress page. The next sections explain the difference.

11. Choose Website-Wide, Fallback, or Assigned-Page-Only Display

Open EstimateFlow → Settings and find Popup estimator selection.

Use the same estimator across the entire website

Choose this when every page should use the same default estimator or website-wide Service Menu. Select an individual estimator under Default popup estimator, or enable the Service Menu under EstimateFlow → Service Menu.

Use page-assigned estimators, with the default as a fallback

An individually assigned page opens its chosen estimator or Service Menu. Any page without an assignment uses the default website estimator or the website-wide Service Menu.

Only show Get Estimate on pages with an assigned estimator

This is Page-only mode. EstimateFlow appears only on pages given an explicit page assignment. Pages set to No page assignment do not show the EstimateFlow floating bar or popup.

Important: The Default popup estimator dropdown lists individual estimators only. It does not list “Service Menu popup.” In Page-only mode, the default dropdown is ignored. Assign the Service Menu from the individual WordPress page instead.

Open popup versus open estimate page

Open estimator popup keeps the visitor on the current page. Open estimate page sends the visitor to the configured Estimate page URL. The page-specific Service Menu assignment is intended for popup mode.

12. Assign a Floating Popup From the WordPress Page Sidebar

This is the feature used to show a floating popup on one selected page. It is not an Elementor widget and it is not a WordPress content block.

Assign the Service Menu to one page

  1. Configure the estimators and wording under EstimateFlow → Service Menu.
  2. Open EstimateFlow → Settings.
  3. Set Floating button action to Open estimator popup.
  4. Set Popup estimator selection to Only show Get Estimate on pages with an assigned estimator.
  5. Save settings.
  6. Open Pages in WordPress and choose Edit for the desired page. Use the normal WordPress page editor, not Edit with Elementor.
  7. Find the EstimateFlow Popup Estimator box. It normally appears in the right sidebar; some WordPress screen layouts may place compatible meta boxes below the editor.
  8. Select Service Menu popup.
  9. Optionally check Show Call on this page and Show Text on this page.
  10. Select Update.
  11. Clear all caches and test the page while logged out.

Assign one individual estimator instead

Follow the same steps, but choose the estimator’s name from the Floating popup for this page dropdown instead of Service Menu popup.

Remove EstimateFlow from a page

Edit the page and choose No page assignment. In Page-only mode, that page will show no EstimateFlow action bar or popup.

If the assignment box is missing

  • Confirm EstimateFlow Pro is active.
  • Confirm the content is a WordPress Page rather than a post, archive, or template.
  • Exit Elementor and open the normal WordPress Edit Page screen.
  • Check the editor’s Preferences or Panels controls to ensure the EstimateFlow meta box is not hidden.

13. Embed an Estimator Directly With Elementor

Embedding places the complete estimator inside the page content. This is different from assigning a floating popup in the WordPress page sidebar.

Use the native Elementor widget

  1. Publish the estimator first.
  2. Open the desired page and select Edit with Elementor.
  3. In the Elementor widget search, type Service Estimator, EstimateFlow, estimate, quote, calculator, or service.
  4. Drag the Service Estimator widget into the desired container.
  5. In the widget’s Content settings, use Choose Estimator to select the published estimator.
  6. Update the page.
  7. Clear caches and test the published page while logged out.

Use Elementor’s Shortcode widget as a fallback

  1. Copy the shortcode from the estimator’s Display Estimator box.
  2. Drag Elementor’s Shortcode widget into the page.
  3. Paste the shortcode and update the page.

Elementor embedding does not automatically create a floating button. Configure the floating action bar separately under EstimateFlow Settings and Floating Bar Design.

14. Embed With the WordPress Block or Shortcode

WordPress block editor

  1. Edit the page with the normal WordPress block editor.
  2. Select the plus button to add a block.
  3. Search for Service Estimator.
  4. Add the block and choose the published estimator from the Estimator selector.
  5. Update the page and test it while logged out.

The Service Estimator block embeds the form inside the content. It is different from the EstimateFlow Popup Estimator page-setting box in the right sidebar.

Shortcode

Use

Estimator not found.

and replace 123 with the published estimator ID. The shortcode can be placed in a WordPress Shortcode block, Elementor Shortcode widget, or another area that executes WordPress shortcodes.

Which placement method should be used?

  • Floating popup: use the WordPress page sidebar assignment or website-wide settings.
  • Inline Elementor form: use the native Service Estimator widget.
  • Inline block-editor form: use the Service Estimator block.
  • Compatibility fallback: use the shortcode.

15. Configure the Floating Call, Text, and Get Estimate Bar

Choose actions for each device

Under EstimateFlow → Settings, configure mobile and desktop independently. Available modes include Off, Get Estimate only, Call only, Text only, Call + Get Estimate, Call + Text, and Call + Text + Get Estimate.

  • Call: opens the device telephone action using the configured telephone number.
  • Text: opens the device SMS action using the configured mobile number.
  • Get Estimate: opens the chosen estimator or Service Menu.

Button behavior

  • Use Open estimator popup to keep visitors on the current page.
  • Use Open estimate page only when the Get Estimate action should link to a dedicated page URL.
  • The attention animation can be enabled or disabled.
  • The optional EstimateFlow Pro attribution opens the product website in a new tab.

Design the bar

Open EstimateFlow → Floating Bar Design. The bar provides separate controls for the complete container and each Call, Text, and Get Estimate button, including background, text, border, width, height, radius, label size, spacing, shadow, maximum width, position, bottom offset, and visibility.

Design checklist

  • Use strong contrast between text and button backgrounds.
  • Keep labels short enough for mobile screens.
  • Do not cover cookie controls, chat buttons, checkout controls, or important content.
  • Test portrait and landscape mobile views.
  • Verify the attribution remains inside the floating container if enabled.

16. Use Demo Mode on a Product Demonstration Website

Demo Mode allows visitors to complete estimators and view preliminary ranges without creating false business leads.

Turn on Demo Mode

  1. Open EstimateFlow → Settings.
  2. Find Demo Mode for ServiceWebBuilder.
  3. Enable Demo Mode and save.
  4. Clear caches and test the public demo while logged out.

What Demo Mode prevents

  • No lead is saved.
  • No customer photos are uploaded.
  • No business notification email is sent.
  • No completed-request result is counted.
  • The final screen states that the experience is a demonstration.

Visitors can still answer questions, follow branches, see the preliminary range, try the contact and photo screens, review the demonstration, and restart it. Keep Demo Mode off on a real service-business website.

17. Manage Leads and Measure Results

Lead records

Open EstimateFlow → Leads to review customer contact details, estimator answers, description, preliminary range, source page, and uploaded photographs. Use statuses, customer notes, internal notes, assignment information, scheduling fields, and final price as appropriate for the business workflow.

  • Archive completed or inactive requests instead of immediately deleting them.
  • Use Trash for records that may need recovery.
  • Use permanent deletion only when the record should not be recoverable through EstimateFlow.
  • Export leads when an authorized business record is needed outside WordPress.

Results dashboard

The Overview Results dashboard reports:

  • Call-button clicks
  • Text-button clicks
  • Get Estimate clicks
  • Completed estimate requests
  • Requests containing photos
  • Conversion rate from estimate opens to completed requests
  • Source website pages that generated completed requests
  • Today, last seven days, this month, and since-reset totals

Reset results

Use the reset control only when a new measurement period should begin. Resetting the Results dashboard deletes tracked event counts and starts a new “Since Reset” period. It does not delete saved leads.

18. Configure and Test Email Notifications

  1. Open EstimateFlow → Settings.
  2. Enter the business notification email address.
  3. Customize the admin email subject, heading, signature, logo, and primary color if desired.
  4. Submit a complete test estimate from a private browser window.
  5. Confirm the lead appears under EstimateFlow → Leads.
  6. Check the inbox and spam folder.

A saved lead proves the submission reached WordPress. It does not prove that the hosting mail system delivered the email.

If email arrives in spam or does not arrive

  • Use a business-domain From address rather than the customer’s address.
  • Configure authenticated SMTP or a reputable transactional mail service.
  • Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC through the email or DNS provider.
  • Use the customer email as Reply-To when appropriate, not as the authenticated From address.
  • Use a WordPress mail log during testing to determine whether WordPress handed off the message.

EstimateFlow stores the lead even when email delivery fails, provided the submission itself completed successfully.

19. Spam Protection, Photos, Privacy, and Caching

Basic spam protection

Keep basic spam protection enabled. It combines a hidden anti-bot field, submission timing checks, security validation, server-side sanitization, and rate limiting. Logged-in administrators are not rate limited.

The submission rate limit applies to completed request attempts for one estimator. Opening the popup, answering questions, and calculating a preliminary range do not count as submissions.

Customer photographs

  • Set a reasonable maximum number of photos.
  • Images must pass type and size checks. The current customer error guidance accepts JPG, PNG, or WEBP images under 8 MB each.
  • Do not ask customers to upload identification, payment cards, passwords, medical records, or unrelated private material.
  • Publish an accurate privacy policy describing what the website collects and why.

WordPress security

  • Limit administrator accounts and use strong unique passwords and multifactor authentication.
  • Keep WordPress, the theme, and every plugin updated.
  • Back up the website and test restoration periodically.
  • Do not email or publish private lead details or customer photos.

Caching

EstimateFlow can automatically purge supported WordPress cache layers after settings changes. Hosting, CDN, proxy, and browser caches may still require manual clearing. Always test public placement and wording while logged out after changing the floating bar, Service Menu, estimator assignment, or popup design.

20. Complete Testing and Launch Checklist

Estimator logic

  • Every published estimator has the correct title, introduction, customer wording, and disclaimer.
  • Required questions prevent continuation when unanswered.
  • Each starting answer follows the correct related branch.
  • Unrelated questions never appear in another service path.
  • Not-sure and photo-determination answers continue correctly.
  • Back, Top, Edit, Start Over, and review controls work on desktop and mobile.

Pricing

  • The base price is correct.
  • Every answer adjustment is correct.
  • Hidden questions do not affect the total.
  • Low, average, and high answer combinations produce sensible ranges.
  • The preliminary-price disclaimer is visible.

Placement

  • The correct estimator or Service Menu opens on each assigned page.
  • Unassigned pages show nothing when Assigned-page-only mode is active.
  • Elementor, WordPress block, and shortcode embeds show the intended estimator.
  • Call and Text use the correct telephone number.
  • Mobile and desktop action combinations match their settings.

Submission

  • The review page displays answers, contact information, photographs, and preliminary range.
  • Photo thumbnails and upload statuses are understandable.
  • The success screen appears after submission.
  • A lead is saved with the correct source page.
  • The notification email arrives and attachments can be reviewed.
  • Demo Mode does not save leads, upload photos, or send email.

Final test: Clear every cache, sign out of WordPress, open a private browser window, and complete the estimator as a customer would on both a phone and a laptop.

21. Troubleshooting Guide

The floating bar appears across the entire website

Under EstimateFlow Settings, change Popup estimator selection to Only show Get Estimate on pages with an assigned estimator. Then assign the estimator or Service Menu from the normal WordPress Edit Page sidebar.

Service Menu popup does not appear under Default popup estimator

This is expected. The Default popup estimator dropdown lists individual estimators. Configure the menu under EstimateFlow → Service Menu, then select Service Menu popup from the individual WordPress page assignment box.

The page-assignment choice is missing

Exit Elementor and open the normal WordPress Edit Page screen. Look for EstimateFlow Popup Estimator in the right sidebar or below the editor. Check editor Preferences or Panels if it is hidden.

Elementor cannot find the estimator

Confirm the estimator is published. Search for the Service Estimator widget. If needed, use Elementor’s Shortcode widget with the estimator shortcode.

A newly created estimator does not appear in the Service Menu

If automatic published estimators is enabled, confirm the estimator is published and clear caches. In manual mode, return to Service Menu, check the estimator, and save.

The wrong estimator opens

Check the individual page assignment first, then the Popup estimator selection mode, the Service Menu setting, and the default estimator. Clear all cache layers afterward.

The estimator cannot be loaded

Confirm the estimator remains published, its ID is correct, and no security or cache plugin is blocking WordPress AJAX requests.

Questions mix unrelated services

Review Conditional Display and every After this answer destination. Test each starting path separately and ensure branches only move forward through related questions.

Photographs take a long time

Large phone images require optimization and upload time. Ask for only the photos needed, keep the window open, and verify hosting upload limits and connection speed.

The submit screen appears stuck

Wait for all image statuses to complete. Do not refresh or close the page. If it never finishes, test without photos, inspect the browser console and WordPress logs, and verify upload limits and security rules.

No notification email arrives

Check Leads first. If the lead exists, test WordPress mail and SMTP, then inspect spam. If the lead does not exist, troubleshoot the submission itself.

Before contacting support

Record the WordPress version, EstimateFlow version, active theme, cache and security plugins, affected page URL, estimator name and ID, browser, device, expected behavior, actual behavior, exact error, and reproduction steps. Never send passwords, payment information, private license keys, or unnecessary customer data.

22. License, Backup, Updates, and Uninstall

License activation

Open EstimateFlow → Settings, locate the License section, enter the key exactly as issued, and activate it for the authorized website. License activation controls automatic updates and support eligibility. An inactive or expired license does not immediately disable existing estimators.

Before every update

  1. Create a complete files-and-database backup.
  2. Export important custom templates when appropriate.
  3. Record the current plugin version.
  4. Install the update.
  5. Clear caches and run the launch checklist.

Deactivate, delete, and data removal

  • Deactivate: stops the plugin without intentionally deleting its stored information.
  • Delete with Delete data on uninstall disabled: preserves plugin data for a later reinstall, subject to the installed release behavior.
  • Delete with Delete data on uninstall enabled: permanently removes EstimateFlow tables and settings when the plugin is deleted.

Do not enable deletion merely to perform an update. Permanent deletion may remove estimators, settings, leads, analytics, and other plugin information.
